First, you should know that this website Jolida.net belong is run under the responsibility of a U.S company CHATTERY INC, based in Potomac (MD), USA, since 1995.

In 1996 Chattery Inc created an Hifi products plant in China, whose name is SHENDA AUDIO LTD. This Chinese plant was initially a 50/50 Joint-Venture with another U.S. company, the Maryland JOLIDA INC. and in this Venture, Shanghai Shenda Ltd was providing 100% of the design and manufacturing of all Jolida products. But after just a year, and because of big cash difficulties, Jolida Inc sold its 50% of Shenda Audio factory to Chattery Inc and also sold its Jolida trademark. All this was recorded in a formal contract (read here). So, since 1997, Chattery Inc. is the sole owner of the Shenda Ltd and THE SOLE OWNER OF THE JOLIDA TRADEMARK WORLDWIDE. After 1997, Jolida Inc. of Maryland continued the Hifi business, but acting just as Shenda Ltd's U.S. Marketer and Distributor. Unfortunately, since february 2008 we have not any more connection with the Maryland Jolida Inc because they suddenly broke the 1997's contract without any prior notice and previously built in secret their own Chinese workshop and quit Shenda factory.

In March of 2010, Chattery Inc and Shenda Ltd have engaged a lawsuit in the Federal Court to prohibit Maryland Jolida Inc from using our Jolida trademark. We had first court victories in March 2011 and September 2011 and we expect the court to give its final judgement in early 2013 (you can read the lawsuit evidence here where it is said clearly we are the plaintiffs).

The shareholder of Shenda Factory is the US company CHATTERY INC and its president is Mr. Jingguo CHEN.

Our president Mr. Chen has very significant financial assets and can guarantee the Shenda-Jolida factory and its U.S. customers a secure and long term viability.

OUR PLANT

Our factory is located in the Jiading district of Shanghai. It consists of two main buildings, one for the manufacturing workshop and one for the business offices. The total surface is 30,000 square feet.

OUR STAFF

We have 24 persons working in our factory. 4 are in the Design and Engineering department, 12 are in the workshop, and 8 are in the office department.

We certify that none of our staff is underpaid and all the workers receive quality bonuses. All of our workers are paid for any overtime work. We do believe that good quality products can be produced only in good working conditions.
